Microsoft 365 Management in the Arxus Portal

Microsoft 365 Subscriptions in the Arxus Portal is an exclusive hub that empowers you with a comprehensive view of your Microsoft licenses and subscriptions. Prerequisites

To use Microsoft 365 Subscriptions in the Arxus Portal you need:

  • Access to the Arxus portal with the appropriate permissions to use this feature.

  • Your company must have you activated this service with Arxus.

How to activate?

If your company has this service active, and you still can’t use it, contact your company portal administrator (usually this person, is who in your company has “Full Role” rights to the users and permission section)


Edit your Microsoft 365 Subscription


To view in detail or modify an existing subscription in the Arxus Portal, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Microsoft 365 Subscriptions from within the Arxus Portal

  2. Accessing the Subscription: Click on the subscription you wish to edit. A dialog box will appear on the right side of the screen, displaying various editable details;



  • Display Name: View and modify the name of your subscription.

  • Number of Licenses: Check the current number of licenses. To change this number, click the edit icon, which opens a dialog box for adjustments. You can only decrease the quantity within seven days since you last applied the change After this period, you can only increase the quantity. Please note that decreasing quantities on legacy subscriptions is not supported

    • Example: If you have 10 licenses and you add 10 more, you can decrease back to the original 10 ( or any number you chose) within seven days. After that, you can only increase the quantity.

  • Term: Review the duration of your subscription. This cannot be edited.

  • Billing Frequency: Shows how often your subscription is charged. (This is set when you add a new subscription) This cannot be changed with immediate effect, but you can schedule changes that will be applied after the renewal date, and change for either monthly or yearly billing options.

  • Status: Displays the current status (e.g., active) of your subscription. This cannot be edited.

  • Auto Renew: Displays if the subscription has auto-renew on. You can click on the edit icon to turn on or off auto renew

  • Renews On: Displays the date when your subscription is set to renew. This cannot be edited.

  • Scheduled Changes: Displays if there are any scheduled changes. Here you can specify what changes you want to happen at the renewal time of the subscription. It is possible to upgrade to another product at any time, but this cannot be implemented via self-service on the Arxus Portal. For more information, please log a change ticket.

    • Click the edit icon to set:

      • Quantity: Adjust the number of subscriptions for the next term. You can only decrease the quantity within seven days of the renewal. After this period, you can only increase the quantity.

      • Term: Select the duration of the next subscription term.

      • Align End Date: Choose the end date for the upcoming term.

      • Billing Frequency: Choose the billing frequency (monthly or annual).

  • ID: The unique identifier of your subscription. This cannot be edited.

  • Description: A brief overview of the subscription. This cannot be edited.

  • Refundable Quantities: Displays the number of licenses eligible for a refund upon reduction. This cannot be edited.

  • Assign Users: Assign the subscription to specific users. By clicking on the edit icon, you’ll be redirected to the Microsoft Admin Center where you can make the change happen.

  • Cancel Subscription: A direct option to cancel the subscription. Available until midnight of the activation day.
