Tracking Application Usage and Crash Rates
The Application Data View within the Endpoint Management section of the Arxus Portal provides a comprehensive analysis of application usage and performance across all managed devices, helping you identify and address issues related to application performance and reliability.
Prerequisites
To use Endpoint Management in the Arxus Portal you need:
Access to the Arxus portal with the appropriate permissions to use this feature.
Your company must have you activated this service with Arxus.
How to activate?
If your company has this service active, and you still can’t use it, contact your company portal administrator (usually this person, is who in your company has “Full Role” rights to the users and permission section).
Overview
The Application Data View offers detailed insights into the usage, crash rates, and installation success rates of applications across your managed devices. This reportview helps in understanding which applications are most used, which are prone to crashes, and which have high failure rates during installation, aiding in better application management and troubleshooting.
Summary Metrics
In the Application Data View, you will find:
Top 15 Most Used Applications: A bar graph showing the top 15 applications by usage percentage.
Top 15 Most Crashed Applications: A bar graph displaying the top 15 applications by the number of crashes.
Detected Applications: A table listing all detected applications along with their versions and the number of devices they are installed on.
Applications with a Failed Installation Rate Higher than 30%: A table showing applications with high installation failure rates, helping identify problematic installations.
Visual Data Representation
The Application Data View includes:
Top 15 Most Used Applications: Visual representation of the applications most frequently used across your devices, highlighting usage patterns.
Top 15 Most Crashed Applications: Visual insights into the applications that crash the most, helping to prioritize troubleshooting efforts.
Detected Applications: A detailed table listing applications detected on your network, including application names, versions, and the count of devices they are installed on.
Applications with a Failed Installation Rate Higher than 30%: Identification of applications with significant installation issues, facilitating targeted resolution.

Additionally, in the Application Data View, you can find:
Application Name: The name of each application.
Application Version: The version of each application installed.
Application Device Count: The number of devices on which each application is installed.
Failed Device Percentage: The percentage of devices where the application installation failed.
Failed Device Count: The count of devices where the application installation failed.
Installed Device Count: The count of devices where the application is successfully installed.
Total Assigned Devices: The total number of devices assigned to the application.

Application Name Filter: A dropdown to select specific applications for detailed analysis.
Apps Type Filter: An option to filter between device assigned apps and user assigned apps.
