Step 3; What Happens After You Request a Tenant for a Customer?

What happens after submitting a tenant creation or onboarding request for a customer via the Arxus Portal

Overview

This article explains what happens after you as a Partner or Value Add Partner request to create or onboard an Azure tenant for your customer in the Arxus Portal.


What Happens After You Submit the Request

1. Confirmation Emails Are Sent

After you submit the request;

  • An email is sent to the Commercial Contact and Technical Contact listed in the tenant request creation.

  • The email includes a summary of all submitted information, including the company name, tenant name, and contact roles.

These emails confirm the request was received and is being processed by Arxus.

2. Arxus Validates the Request

The Arxus team checks that:

  • All required information is filled in correctly

  • Contacts are valid (must be ServiceNow users where required)

3. Account Access Information Is Shared

  • Once registration is completed:

    • The technical contact receives login credentials to access the Arxus Customer Portal, if they didn't already have access. If they already had access to the Arxus Customer portal, they will only receive an email stating that the tenant registration/ creation was successful.

    • The commercial contact is informed that the registration was successful and that the technical contact can now log in and manage licenses.


Key Reminders

  • ✅ Always perform a company switch before creating contacts or users for your customer.

  • Only assign contacts from your own org if you have a clear agreement with your customer.

  • ⚠️ Selecting yourself as the Commercial Contact means you accept full legal responsibility.

  • ✅ Keep a copy of any signed agreements from the customer if you're acting on their behalf.


What’s Next?

Once your tenant is created or onboarded, you’re ready to move forward and start managing Azure subscriptions for your customer.
Make sure the technical contact can access the portal and when everything’s set, head to m365 Subscriptions feature to begin adding or linking subscriptions
